Registration is open only to presenters of a paper accepted for presentation at the conference. Due to capacity constraints, we can host the presenters of submitted papers only.
The conference begins on Sunday, 31 May at 17:30 and ends on Thursday, 4 June, after breakfast. We recommend arriving on Sunday afternoon to join the welcome reception and dinner. For more information, please consult the conference program.
Please read the following instructions carefully before registering. If you have any questions concerning the procedure, please contact us at sured@clutterunibas.ch before proceeding with your registration and booking.
The information below is for paying participants only. Invited speakers and organizers will receive information on their registration directly from the conference secretariat.
The procedure has 4 separate steps:
Step 1: Registration and payment of the conference registration fee of CHF 130
Step 2: Meals booking and payment
Step 3: Hotel booking and payment
Step 4: Registration for the excursion and conference dinner on Tuesday, and for the dinner on Wednesday
The conference fee includes access to all sessions and use of the Centro's facilities, including the computer room and wireless internet.
Please complete and submit the registration form through the link provided in your acceptance email.
Once the form is submitted, a registration confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided in the form. Please note that this is only a confirmation that the form has been submitted correctly. It is not a payment confirmation.
After submitting the form, you will be directed to a secure credit card payment page where you can pay the conference registration fee. Please read and accept the terms and conditions, then enter the required amount and your credit card details to finish your payment.
Once payment is done correctly, you will get a confirmation email. This email will contain a code and the link that you will need to access the booking page for Step 2.
Once you have paid the registration fee, go to the meals booking page of the Hotel Monte Verità website.
Enter the code from your registration confirmation email to access the meals booking page.
The welcome drink, excursion, and conference dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday are included in the conference fee. Participants have to book and pay for all the other meals. The meals package includes all coffee breaks, lunches and the dinners on Sunday and Monday.
Please note that meals must be booked and paid for by the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, the meals booking platform will be closed and the restaurant will no longer accept any bookings.
The cancellation policy for booked meals is governed by the payment conditions of the Hotel and Conference Centre Monte Verità, which are displayed on the Hotel Web page at the moment of booking and payment.
Once the meals booking and payment is successfully finished, you will be directed to Monte Verità’s hotel booking page for Step 3.
You can either book your room at the Hotel Monte Verità (the conference venue) or at another hotel in Ascona.
Following the directions after booking and paying for the meals, you will be directed to Monte Verità‘s hotel booking platform, where you can check availability and prices.
Please note:
The cancellation policy for booked bedrooms at Hotel Monte Verità is dictated by the payment conditions of the Hotel and Conference Centre Monte Verità. Those are given on the Hotel Web page at the moment of booking and payment.
You may also use your preferred online booking platform to find accommodation that suits your needs and budget. Please check the location carefully relative to Monte Verità (search for "Fondazione Monte Verità Ascona" in Google Maps). Note that Monte Verità is situated on a hill approximately 100 metres above the town centre (post office) and it is about a 20-minute walk uphill to the conference venue.
Breakfast will be served at your hotel, whereas all the other meals are booked at the conference venue restaurant.
We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Hotel Luna and Hotel La Perla for SURED conference participants.
