Since the retirement of Lucas Bretschger from ETH, the conference on Sustainable Resource Use and Economic Dynamics (SURED) has been continued under the leadership of Beat Hintermann (University of Basel). The conference takes place every two years.
The SURED conferences have become well-known events in the fields of resource, energy and environmental economics and dynamic economic theory. By bringing together leading experts and young scientists from different disciplines and countries, who use both theoretical and applied approaches, SURED 2026 will provide a forum for the discussion of the latest developments in the field and for identifying future research agendas.
